The Inaugural Holy Trail Festival of Running with two distances to choose from.
Boghopper Races are thrilled to announce a brand new event featuring beautiful trails in Suffolk. There are a choice of two distances, 50 KM and 50 Mile. Each has its own cut-offs and time limits.
- 50 mile is a circular route, starting and finishing at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad with a 15 hour time limit
- 50 km starts at Holton Village Hall and finishes at Nicholas Everitt Park with a 10 hour time limit.
Min age for 50 mile and 50km 20 years old.
Your race entry fee includes:
- A unique medal
- Food & drink at the checkpoints
- GPS Tracking for the race
- First aid services
- A light meal and hot drinks at the finish
- Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in both Female and Male/Open categories
There is also an opportunity to purchase a t-shirt when you enter.
Easy transport links with railway stations a short walk from the start and finish. We encourage you to use public transport or car share to limit our environmental impact.
Deferrals are not allowed but transfers/sale of your entry via SiEntries, to another participant are allowed until midday Saturday 25 April 2026.
We are LGBT friendly. We are non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as Female (Females only category), Male or non-binary (Male/Open category).

This event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics Rules. Permit number tbc.
